Update 4:55 PM -- Ben Ainslie has defeated Ian Williams, going 3-1 over four flights to advance to the finals where he'll meet Adam Minoprio. A full report on today's racing later this evening. Update: 4:25 PM: Adam Minoprio has advanced to the finals, going 3.- over Eric Monnin. Ian Williams won his match against Ben Ainslie and they will now sail a Flight 4 match. Williams must win this to stay in the game... Update 3:46 In flight 2 Ainslie has taken the match against Ian Williams. Both Willams and Monnin are now in "must win to stay alive" mode for Flight 3. Update: 3:40 PM: In flight 2, Minoprio has taken another match and is now 2.- over Monnin. The match between Ainslie and Williams has yet to finish, Williams has a penalty. Update 3:30 PM In flight 1 of the semi finals, Adam Minoprio over Eric Monnin, Ben Ainslie over Ian Williams.

Update 2:15 PM: Change in the schedule... racing for places 5-8 is before the semi finals. Update: 12:42 PM: The pairings for the Semi Finals are Eric Monnin vs. Adam Minoprio, Ben Ainslie vs. Ian Williams. The boats are about to head out, winds are from the west at 8 -10 knots under sunny skies. Update 12:15 PM: Flight 4 is finished, and that's it for the quarterfinals. Advancing to the semifinals are Eric Monnin, Ben Ainslie, Ian Williams and Adam Minoprio. Sailors are heading in now for the boat draw for the semi's. Racing for places 5-8 will take place simultaneously. Update 11:30: Well, it's an all-underdog morning, as Johnie Bertsson takes a match against Ian Willams and Mathieu Richard wins his over Adam Minoprio! Monnin is now 2-1 over Walker, Ainslie 2-1 over Mirsky, Williams 2-1 over Berntsson and Minoprio 2-1 over Richard. Update 11:15: Bermudian Blythe Walker stays alive with a win against Eric Monnin in Flight 3 Match 1. Torvay Mirsky also stays in the hunt with a win over Ben Ainslie. And now at 10 AM the boats are finally heading out. Winds are from the NNW at 5 to 7 knots.
