It was quite a contrast from the day before with 8 -12 knots from the NW. The race committee and mark boat team did a great job getting 5 full trapazoid courses set and sailed in very shifty conditions on the Great Sound. The leaderboard saw some "ups and downs" and some new faces. One exception, Ignacio "Nacho" Rogala (ARG), stayed squarely on top and has left himself with a comfortable 26 point cushion. The German duo of Max Hibler and Severin Rothlauf had very consistent races throughout the day to catapult themselves into 2nd and 3rd. The Bermuda duo of Owen Siese and Kalin Hiller dropped slighty to 4th and 5th but are very much on their game and prepared to defend their home turf (sea?) fiercely. First place "Bullet" finishes today came from Argentine "Nacho" Rogala (2),Fredrik Nygaard (DEN), Kalin Hillier (BER) and Dimitri Stevens (BER). 4 races are scheduled for tomorrow (Saturday).
