High gusts, squalls and potential thunderstorms Thursday morning kept the Jr Gold Cup sailors off the water until 11 am after which it became a perfect sailing day in the Great Sound. Sailed in 16 - 20 knot westerly's left Argentine Ingnacio "Nacho" Rogala  in first place firing off a 1,2,,1 followed by solid performances by Bermudians Owen Siese and Kalin Hillier. Dominican Paloma Esteban is in 4th place and is the leading female in the group of 35 sailors.
